The Lebanese Association for Development (Al Majmoua) and Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) launched a joint project in the aim of supporting and reinforcing the production capacity of 19 food-processing cooperatives, located across rural areas in Lebanon.
The project was initiated with an extensive study analyzing the real needs of more than 500 beneficiaries from several cooperatives; the study was then followed with the distribution of 30 electrical equipment to support and professionalize their production system, while constantly helping them to improve the quality standards of their products.
