The selection criteria of producers used by FAIR TRADE LEBANON :
- Individual producers or cooperatives. Priority given to women's cooperatives ;
- Small family businesses with fewer than 10 employees located in outlying regions of Lebanon ;
- Possession of traditional and craftwork skills ;
- Mutual agreement on Fair Trade conditions.
The criteria for contracting and selecting that respect the principles of fair trade, the local knowledge and the dignity of producers are all described in our "Commitments" document available upon request.
