Description:
Dried and finely ground sumach seeds.

Directions for use:
With its acidulous taste, sumach can be a substitute for lemon in many recipes. It scents salads, seafood, fish, poultries and meat. It is also a great addition to stuffing, rice, leguminous plants and bread. Mixed with yoghurt and some herbs, it also becomes an excellent dipping sauce. Sumach is an ingredient of zaatar, a typical Lebanese mixture! |
